I just added power steering to my 65 coupe about 2 weeks ago. The kit I installed was a brand new never out of the box from Lonestar. I bought the kit from a NCRS member I met here on the board. I did the installation and it took about a day and all went well. I had the car aligned last week and what a difference. I love it. Go for it.I don't think you'll regret it.

Bob,

Please remember, it is power assisted and not the full power steering you experience in your new cars of today. I have converted my 67 to PS years ago and I really enjoy the "assist".

The previous owner of my 64 coupe added factory style power steering and power brakes (with dual master cylinder) to the car.. It makes the car a real pleasure to drive. Unless total originality is your goal, go for it. You will not regret it.
