I'm not surprised. Corporate blue was really used for such a short time (although on all GM engines)----late 1977 to about 1981. Of course, by now how many folks are going to be restoring engines from that time period for any GM engine? So, the market for such paint has probably pretty much "evaporated".

One more thing that I've noted about just about every engine paint I've tried: they are WAY too glossy. One of the few that was about right with respect to gloss level was the Bill Hirsch product (I've only tried it in Chevrolet orange, though). However, in my opinion, at least at the time I bought it, the color was WAY off.

I used the VHT SP135 GM Corp Blue and it was close when compared to a fresh color match and not old faded heat cycled paint.

Could be. I don't think that they have any current aerosols available.

VHT and DupliColor were both darker than the 41 year old paint currently on the motor, enough so as to be notable if I just repaint the thermostat housing.

I have a Seymour brand on the way. The local Dodge dealer did not have their turquoise color as referenced above, and if I go that way it's cheaper to order online than to get it locally at the Mopar counter.

FYI, the Seymour brand was much closer to the original color than the DupliColor and VHT brands.
I was given a can of PlastiKote to try, but did not once the Seymour worked so well.
My local dealer does not stock the turquoise Mopar paint, and wanted $19 a can for it, much more than online. Again, once the Seymour worked I stopped shopping.

With some artful painting I think it will not be noticeable on a couple of the installed parts. We will see what the judges think.
