C2 two hole straps in engine compartment

    C2 questions:

Is the orientation of the two hole straps on the inner fenders judged?
    Can either hole be used?

    Thank you,

    Randy

    Randy,
Which fender are you referring too? The passenger side fender has three holes to hold the overflow tank to radiator hose. The driver's side fender has four holes to hold the forward wiring harness from the firewall block to where it passes over the radiator support. And, I assume, you're asking about your '67.

I am referring to my 67. My question refers to all of the two hole straps used in the engine compartment. The hole I am questioning refers to the holes in the straps.

      Thank you,

      Randy

        Randy,
All of mine are in the hole closest to the middle of the strap. You want the harness or hose held snugly. Mine has been through judging a few times, and no mention of anything amiss.

          Randy,
If you are using the original straps one can tell the hole used as the pin side has flutes that leaves marks in the hole.

              Michael,
That is the wire for the factory A/C.
