Have a question on very late 1972 master cylinder. I have '72 VIN 26,5xx. July '72 build with power brakes. The judging guide states that very late '72's don't have the 2-character code stamped on the front semi circular machined area.
My question is: Was the machined area still present, but just without a stamp on it? OR was the machined area gone completely and replaced with the TG on the forward brake line fitting?
CSSB's catalog indicates the latter, but wanted to see forum's thoughts are.
Their 1972 power MC listing refers you to this part # for '72 VIN's 25k and above:
