Again, will the interior judge see the quartz clock second hand sweeping and also make an an "appearance" deduction, or will the battery already be disconnected? Thanks for posting.

If you leave the Quartz clock in for judging, operations should be the only loss of points. The interior team is look at it originality and condition not its operation. As one other member stated when the car is judged owners a encouraged to disconnect the battery during judging as not to drain the battery that it will not start when the event is over.

Paul. thanks for spelling it out. I don't claim to be the sharpest knife in the drawer. While I have your attention , can you confirm that a "full deduction" on any operational line item equates to 25 points? That's my take on the JG. Basics I know, but important to a newbie.

Yes it is 25 points here is an item that may help. Go to the top of this page and see the word SERVICES. Hover on that and then hover your mouse on the Judging Awards that will open to the right Judging Sheets. Move over click on that and select which sheets you wish to view. You can also print them to help you judge your Corvette yourself.

Paul, thanks again. I have already printed out the sheets and am going through the TIM/JG line by line. I am as picky as they come, but I doubt my wallet can keep up. I just sprang for a clock. Ouch.

Paul thanks for the info on the clock operations deduct, I just had it in my mind the it was split between the two functions.
