1957 Distributer hold down

Did the distributor hold down bolt have a lock washer . AM does not show one . Could that be because it was made on the bolt.

Dan, No washer. Yes the bottom of the bolt does have a flat are-like you said.
Same as the original 8 nuts that hold the 57-65 fuel injections onto the baseplate (intake). No washers as the nuts had a slightly raised area like a flat washers. Just had 5 in my hand a little while ago. Going to put an original set on my '63. John

It was not a flanged head bolt, if that's what you mean. However, I recommend using a flanged head bolt.
