      Gary,

Same problem when using Chrome, as Patrick described in post 39. This is not something new, it has been like this for a long time.

PS: Gary, one thought, could the behavior be different for you because you have admin rights? DC

I postulated that long ago and it was dismissed. However, I still think that it may be a factor.
I have Chrome, but I have all my logins, passwords, etc set up for Firefox. It's not worth using another browser just for this site for the few times a year I have to go between the Forum and the rest. It's just annoying that it continues.

          Dennis,

My NCRS Technical Discussion Board login is same as a NCRS member's is. No difference.

BTW, your FireFox settings and logins can be easily copied into Chrome:
To import your bookmarks, follow these steps:
          • On your computer, open Chrome.
          • At the top right, click More .
          • Select Bookmarks Import Bookmarks and Settings.
          • Select the program that contains the bookmarks you'd like to import.
          • Click Import.
          • Click Done.

              Re: What's Changed

The Classified area handles cookies differently than the rest of the site. That is a function of the software we use to run the classified.

We have tried to integrate the cookies from the rest of the site to work in the Classifieds without success. Every time you go to classified you will have to log in. Logging in there will also mess up your cookie for the rest of the site.

The easiest solution would be to use one browser for everything except the classifieds and another for classified. I often use two browsers for different pages to avoid messing up cookies.

Your cookie can also be corrupted for one reason or another. The best solution to that is to delete your cookie and start over.

              Go to https://www.forums.ncrs.org/register/ResetCookie.php

This will clear your cookie out. You will then need to log in and set Remember Me to create a new clean cookie.

                  John,

That's fine and we can accept that going in to that area because it is known. However, the same problem exists with the NCRS store and event registration page.

                  Thanks for the clarification.

                  Regards,

                  Dennis

Below is what works for me in both Chrome and FireFox browsers.

Y'all might want to try these steps and see if they work for you as well.

                    3) open new tab www.ncrs.org/shop/ and am automatically logged into the NCRS Store
                    4) DO NOT log out or close any tabs
                    5) Close broswer
                    6) Open browser
                    7) All browser tabs reload
                    8) am logged into the Technical Discussion Board, NCRS home page and NCRS Store
