George,
1-26-67 was reference date of assembly chart. Sorry for any confusion.
Have print of transmission also which indicates design started 8-24-64. Frame 1 of print indicates there was at least 55 revisions thru 1-26-67.
Obviously some were very minor.

Update: I purchased the car, had it delivered and drove it once. The next day, I left for work and was gone 3 days in when Hurricane Irma got serious. I returned home and prepared my home and boats-then I got the mandatory evacuation notice. You can't imagine the feeling I had knowing that I just left my dream car in my garage, while I left everything to head north away from the hurricane. I can't express the roller coaster nightmare I went through as I found that we were going to receive a 9-12' surge. Fast forward a couple days. I got home to find that Irma's slide to the east reduced the surge to a couple of feet; my new car was spared. I have a few thousand dollars of home damage, but everything else (especially my new love) was spared. Praise God!!

We are glad your beautiful 66 was spared the storm surge. Ironically, a 66 Corvette would probably suffer much less damage from moderate flooding than a new electronic car.
