I send the cars I build suspensions on to a local garage that is good, but this is the first time for KO wheels and I was concerned about marking the wheel rim where the alignment heads mount. Any thoughts on this or will some masking tape at the contact point solve it?

No Gary. I was completely out in left field. For some reason I was thinking of a tire machine for dismounting tires.- Top

Re: Any problem aligning the suspension with KO Wheels?
Look for a shop that has the most current Hunter Alignment systems. They use a target that mounts to the wheel/tire. The target has a soft rubber contact with the wheel face. They grab the tire tread and never have any metal to metal contact. It is a camera based system and is very accurate.
You shouldn't have any issues with rim damage with this type of alignment system. I just used this system on my 2006 GMC 2500HD and I didn't need to take off the wheel centers.Attached Files- Top

Thanks Dave,
I have to admit I haven't seen that type on a Hunter before. The shop I use has about a 10 year old machine now and I have to say it's pretty nice. In addition to alignment it's a full service lift.- Top
