    I have no information that any other Chevrolet model was ever originally equipped with a dual disc clutch. This includes 1970 with LS-6. The car of which you speak could have been retrofitted with one or it could have been retrofitted with some sort of aftermarket dual disc or other clutch.

        My understanding is that the dual-disc clutch is 10" diameter, as opposed to the standard 11" in 1971. Anyone able to support or refute that?

            Correct. The flywheel is a 14", 168 tooth, though. That same size was used for all 11" clutches, although the flywheels are different for standard and dual disc.
