Interesting, maybe they had enough calls to convince them I wasn't crazy when I said it locked on tight. I have stopped using in on diff plugs and had mixed reports back when I did. Most times the owner was able to remove the drain plug or fill plug without issue. Most of the time it was used on the drain plug I tapped in. A couple had a hard time until they put a little heat on it. I have taken apart boxes I tested it on and had to use a pipe on the wrench to break it loose.
If you only uses a little you should be ok. Do you recall what thread it was I mentioned it on, I want to go back and edit it so others will know if they refer to it.
