    Ignition Switch wiring Question

While attempting to install my gauge cluster I came upon a puzzle , several actually but one in particular .

As you can see , I got M & H to install my original plastic ignition connector to their new wiring harness. As pictured the ignition switch has five prongs. At 12::00 we have IGN. then BAT. ,then SOL. then ACC. and lastly GRD.

The connector has Double pink wires going to IGN......Red to BAT...... Purple to SOL....... and black to ACC . with nothing going to GRD.

    Could this be correct?

Jim, You're good. The GND terminal is there on the switch but not used for Corvette. In fact I am unsure if that switch was used on other car models or not. If so, the GND terminal may have been used for them.

Rich - The GM Delco-Remy p/n 1116673 ignition switch (embossed w/673) was also used on the 1966 Chevrolet. Pete

Thanks Pete. Do you know if used on the the 66 Pass cars, what the ground would be used for? I'd imagine it's a terminal just connected to the case of the switch.
