Correct clocking for 1100859 alternator from '69?

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me out...

Is this the correct clocking (i.e. position of the front case in relation to the back case) for a 1100859 alternator? The alternator is from my '69 convertible with base 300 HP 350 CID motor (no AC, no power steering).



I have seen a couple different clocking positions on 1100859 alternators, so I am not sure which is correct for my application. Almost all of the original 1100859 alternators I have seen that have this particular back case (there were 2 slightly different ones used) have this clocking position, so I am hoping this is correct, but I am not 100% sure...

Paul, I have my 72 small block positioned the same way as you have, the AIM may have a picture in the electrical section if you have one for 69

Thanks, Edward! UPC 12 A7 in the '69 AIM shows the alternator, and it APPEARS to be clocked like mine, but it is somewhat hard to tell for sure.

Anyone else who owns a '69 with a 1100859 alternator willing to chime in here?
