Hi Guys,
Could anyone chime in who has an original 427 AC car concerning the short ground cable engine attachment? The '66 AIM, UPC C60, sheet E3 shows this cable attached by one of the driver's side bellhousing bolts. Is that what you are seeing? Any originals with a standard flat hex head bolt and lock washer there?
Through research I feel this bolt was zinc or cad plated, flat head, grade 2 (no lines) with headmark "RBW" with a single raised dot. I found this bolt on the car in a different (wrong) location that "bubbuh" had moved and I'd like to put it back to it's correct location.
My '66 had a scatter shield installed with aftermarket cables/hardware when I bought her way back when. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
Mike
