        I bought a repro headlight rollover switch from Eckler's for my '63 for the same issue...the face of the repro looked so chincy I took it apart and put the guts in the original face....works like a champ...

            I believe if you look at the later switches the chrome toggle is longer than a original switch. One other thing to note is that the switch sits up inside the dash cluster and not just up against the bottom.
