      What a great reference in case this happens. This should be a sticky too. This also shows how easy it is for a knowledgeable person to open the hood of a locked C3.

        Your post does beg the question about 1977-79. What do they use? Also, would these parts work for mid-years?

        I was not sure regarding the 1977-79 when I posted so, since they were not the issue here, I did not cover them in my response. However, after checking it looks like 77-79 was the same as 68-76. The change occurred for 1980. The 1980-82 assembly did become SERVICE for all 1968-82. The 1980-82 assembly will definitely not work for 63-67. Whether the handle/cable component of the 80-82 assembly will work for a 63-67, I do not know. But, I strongly suspect it will not.
