Getting ready to do my comments. Where can I find documentation for the April 8, 1988 date?

Not sure of what you mean by "Where can I find documentation for the April 8, 1988 date".

If you are making reference to the 1988 muffler photo above, that date is embossed into the muffler itself. As viewed in the muffler photo above, at the bottom of the photograph, embossed on the muffler is "099 8". This is the Julian date of manufacturer. The "8" part represents "1988". The "099" part indicates the 99th day of the year. 1988 was a leap year. The 99th day of a leap year is April 8th.

1987 coupe with G44 (3.07:1 axle ratio) except export

All 1988 with G44 (3.07:1 axle ratio) except export

"Export" means cars not delivered to the US or Canada.
