It was a great event many thanks to Ken and the Indiana Chapter. A special thanks to Mike Ingram for clearifying a lot of rumors.

Here is a pdf file that contains a bunch of photos from the Auburn Regional. I will post some pictures from the Welcome Reception and the Awards Banquet later tonight or tomorrow. The welcome reception had seats and tables for everyone and more than enough great hor dourves and we were surrounded by beautiful cars and trucks at the National Automotive And Truck Museum.

I agree! It's communication and transparency that will keep NCRS going in the right direction.

                Good job!!

Congratulations Indiana Chapter. This is one of the best Regionals I have attended in years. Great turn out of cars and thanks to all the volunteers that work so hard to make this event a success.

I posted a bunch of individual car shots and judging photos here. Take a look. You might see your car. I think I got most of them. If you couldn't attend, enjoy the photos. It was the year of the no radio cars in the 1958-1960 class. There were 9 cars and only 2 with radios.

In January in Arizona, they're referred to as "auction specials", saving $$$$ on Wonderbars AND shielding. Prices do seem to be rising on block-off plates, though.

                            Re: Auburn Regional

I also heard some comments about fewer options, fewer things to go wrong during ops check or PV. However, I must say that none of these cars had any evidence of an antenna hole being filled either visually or by feel, top or bottom. But every block off plate we measured was too tall according to the judging criteria. The specs called for 2.4" tall by 8" wide. They were all 2.5" plus a little tall. I know there was a Restorer article on block off plates once. I need to find that.
