Hi folks, any word on how the regional is going ?.. Any pics would be greatly appreciated by all... I heard that there is 80 cars for judging registered?

I was told there are 71 registered cars. 61 flight judged cars. 7 PV cars and a few sportsman. Half dozen or so bow tie candidates in the mix. One owner has 14 cars being judged!

Yes, usually about $10.00.

Your restricted from any schools or things like judges lunch etc.

That little red roadster was bought new in Newport, AR. as a present to my doctor friend when he started college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. His mother bought it for him as a high school graduation present. Absolutely 100% original just as it left St. Louis. Red/Red with both tops, AM/FM, 4 speed, 340HP and a 4.56 rear. Hope the people at Auburn enjoyed it as much as I have since last August.

the impression I get at auburn is that other than a couple local news people and photographers, there are very few people other than the entrants and judges that come to view the cars. I would be surprised if more than a couple dozen people paid the $10 fee to see the cars today. my pass was made of a scrap piece of paper which the receptionist scribbled "visitor pass". I arrived at 10 and it seemed to me that I was the first to get a visitor pass from this person.

Hmm... I've always been told that NCRS members aren't supposed to buy visitor passes to regional or national judging events and must register to attend, even to just view the cars.

John,

Someone gave you incorrect information. Since 2002 IIRC, NCRS has permitted Members to purchase a 1 day gate pass to view the cars for Regional and National events.

Member's must register for an Event to participate in any of the Regional or National Event functions.
