I'm needing a radiator support for my 70 LT1 and most of my books do not list one. I have a 27 inch copper radiator and no a/c. From pictures a big block car looks to have the same support and shroud.

Re: 70 LT1 Radiator support
James,
Most parts houses list your radiator support as 69-72 with either 26.5 inches between saddle mounts or 27.5 inches between saddle mounts. Yours is a brass/copper radiator with saddle mounts or should be. Measure between saddle mounts (radiator cradles) and order from any parts house.

Re: 70 LT1 Radiator support
Hi James,
I don't know if you're looking for a used original or a reproduction?
For the latter you might check with Coffman Corvette. I continue to see their ads for radiator supports in the Driveline.

Paragon part #2350
I'm sure that other parts houses sell the same item as JR mentions.
As Alan noted Coffman manufactures these, and they are generally of very high quality. I used one in a 1976 a year ago, and it dropped right in place.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

James-------
69-72 big block cars DO NOT use the same support and shroud as LT-1. They might appear to be the same but they're definitely not.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 70 LT1 Radiator support
I installed a reproduction radiator support from http://www.coffmancorvette.com for my '70 LS5. It looked identical to the original (except for the rust) and fit perfectly. They are the supplier to the better parts houses, but you can order direct from them as well. I ordered direct because I asked them to not paint it and not attach the radiator's saddle brackets so I could locate them exactly where needed (each radiator, especially if re-cored, varies in width just a bit, which defines the location needed for the brackets).
They were responsive and customer oriented. Manufacturing, support, and sales are in Mansfield, Ohio.Mark Edmondson
