65 heater hose tube, AC car

Hey guys, I'm trying to correct a few things that had been changed incorrectly through the years on a L-75 AC car. ( 65) as well as installing a Dewitts 941 and one of Mr. Mock's water pumps. While in the process, I replaced both heater hoses and stumbled across a curved tube shown on Long Islands site. Can someone tell me where it goes. Does it go next to the vacuum controlled valve on the 5/8" hose close to the firewall ? And BTW, there is a vacuum tube there that runs to a switch located behind the glove box because I had to replace it also. Also, the shop manual and the AIM say nothing about the vacuum cut-off valve that I could see, or I missed it. LI doesn't show the vacuum valve at all. Did the car come with this valve or did someone add it ?
I'm also having trouble figuring out which fender well bracket is the right one to contain the heater hoses, the AIM shows a bracket but it appears to be for a non-AC car. HELP.

OK, I did find the correct cut off valve and it ain't the one I have, oh goodie, I get to spend $120. Any chance someone has a good pic of how all this goes together, including the curved tube ? Hose routing ?

        John,

A couple pics for You. Tube is connected between the heater hoses and routs under compressor for clearance purposes. Good Luckvalve.jpgAC%20Hoses%201.jpg

Very good. Is the tube on the 5/8's line or the 3/4" hose going to the water pump ? One more question: The AIM shows a hose bracket that attaches to the compressor. Any chance you would have a pic ? I assume it's for the heater hoses ?
            Thanks Don & Joseph !

Just happen to have the compressor off for a rebuild. Metal pipe goes in the 5/8 hose and both hoses pass through the round metal rod hose bracket.

Hose bracket attaches to the lower compressor mounting point.

Outstanding pics Don. Thanks a million ! I ordered all the stuff just a while ago, including the correct heater cut-off valve and brackets. Once it all gets here, I'll let you know how it all goes. Looks fairly easy now that I know where everything goes.
