Paul does very good work, but folks often have problems getting their part back in a timely manner. Proceed with caution when using his services. FWIW.

EDIT: Arthur Gould stated that they are working on tooling and procedures to rebuild the crimped pumps. So far they keep moving the date back, but one day they may get it done.

Look at the fuel pump picture on the right side. The heading is "Original". It has an inset with an arrow point to the flange that is intended to show the part number and date code. I enlarged it to try to read the code and number. The best I could make of it was 48422. That is not the correct. It should be Part No. 40433 for s small block 67. In the text overprinted on the "original" picture it states the date code as "HF" that translate to August 66.

I'm trying to validate my fuel pump but the picture displayed has an incorrect part number and a date code of August 66 not valid for my April 67 Vette.

From the archives, regarding date coding of fuel pumps. https://www.forums.ncrs.org/showthre...ump+date+codes. Appears the number/letter date codes began in the late 1960's or later. 9H could be the 9th day of 1968.....................
