Does anyone have a pic of the screws for the emergency brake console... I bought an original console and the screw holes seem larger than my re pop console ?.

Re: E brake console
Enzo------
The screws are #8 chome-finish sheet metal screws with a countersunk, oval head. However, there is an integral, chromed, cupped washer as part of the screw assembly. The assembly was GM #3839438 but I cannot find that it was ever available in SERVICE.
The screw holes in the console are 5/16" OD at the outer surface. However, they are countersunk to accept the integral washer. Some reproductions may lack this feature.

Re: E brake console
Enzo, If you cannot locate those special screw assemblies, you may be able to fabricate your own.
Those conical washers are available separately. They were used on early midyear door panels. eg.....

You might be able to use them with the oval Phillips head screws for the appearance of originals. eg...

Re: E brake console
Hi Richard,I appreciate your advice but I would rather have the correct screws for flight judging...being an interior judge myself I feel that the correct screw is deserved... ThanksEnzo Colosimo

I understand Enzo.....I hope you can find them. I know how hard it is to find some of the "little" things.
