I would like to replace my reproduction voltage regulator with an original one date coded. I have a November '66 build date 1967 coupe. Can you tell me what is the correct date code? Is it 6K?? Part # 1119515. - thank you, Wayne

Wayne,
You should precede the build of the car. If your car was built at beginning of Nov. Then no not typical. But at the end of the month build and the regulator was at the beginning of the month then ok. I would suggest anything before Nov within 6 months is more typical to avoid question.- Top

go junk yarding as unmolested GM cars of the era will have 515 regulators. i especially like corvairs as their regulators are above oil spewing engines which typically protects the cad plating on the regulator base. mike- Top

Hey Mike, most of the junk yards today have modern junk. Hard to find "old junk yards". I collected stuff in the old days just as you did. But those dinosaur days are gone around here. lol.......- Top
