    T3 Headlights

I would like to replace my headlights with original T3 lights. My question is how difficult is it to install the T3's? Thank you

Take the screws out of bezal that goes around both lights ( should be 4 phillips screws ) now you can get at each bulb . There should be 3 screws around each bulb , remove them, pull bulb out , pull plug off the back of each bulb and swap the bulbs .

You forgot to say which way to turn the screwdriver for each operation. Left out Right in. GOOD LUCK.

While the task is easy, my question to you is WHY?
Unless the car is headed for the judging field, I would not used them. They will be dim, and likely yellow tinted from age. Use a set of new halogens for any night time driving.

Keep in mind you should NEVER check T3's direct off a car battery that is almost sure to blow them. Best to use about 9-10 volt reduced (resistor) source which is closer to realistic.

Old T3's are prone to start smoking up after years and years of stowage. Careful prong insertion is advised to maintain the seal.

i smear a thin film of silicone around the entry points on the back of the bulbs. if they leak(and suck in air), they die right now. mike

                      Agree with DonO
If you are not having it judged and are going to drive it at night - use good halogens - at least on low beams
