Mike, Bellcrank stud has a split lockwasher on back side. Remove it as it's not helping your alignment issue. You also might want a stronger accelerator return spring.
Air meter to bellcrank rod. Make sure the threads sticking out from the rod are not hitting the 1/4" vacuum line aka main signal line.
    Looks awfully close.
You seem to have a lot of clearance between the distributor vacuum advance line and the threads sticking out from the top of the air meter to bellcrank rod. That's nice but on a resto that sometimes is an issue to get enough clearance. You have an extreme amount. Removing the split lockwasher will help.

Continue to appreciate the help. I do think its possible to get from idle to WOT on this thing, but it might require either a change to the spring or potentially some change to the linkage. Below is a pic of the rod removed, it most certainly has a bend in the side view.

John - I am planning on coming to Carlisle, can you bring an example of a proper rod and return spring? I'll bring mine and we'll compare?

      Thanks,
      Mike

Hi Mike, Yes the rod has a bend in it. It appears to be an original also. Although the repro is quite nice.
Meanwhile try and straighten it. Should be on a flat plane-should not have the angle bend.

I will go take a photo of one although if you compare the one in my 63 engine pic you will see the difference quite easily. John

Mike, Don't forget to reroute your black temperature sending unit loom to the passenger side.
Story: When my 63, the LWC was restored around 2006 I was running it in the driveway with the hood closed. Opened the hood and there was oil running down my newly refinished Passenger side valve cover. I said it just can't be the FI unit as no oil in those. Thought the valve cover gasket was leaking but it wasn't.
The repro temperature sending look was ouzing oil big time. It made a mess.
Michael Hanson said take it off and wash it in gasoline. Taking it off wouldn't have been easily so i disconnected it from the TSU . Covered the engine and kept wiping the loom down with thinner. Ruined the decal on the valve cover. So Dave Cardina made some decals with his printer. Took the car to a show and got dinged because of the fake decal. Think it was the MD from MD who dinged me.
