Ralph, thanks for the info on the 58 1/2" belt, I'll see if I can get some info on that P/N.

Ed, no deep drive pulley on my AC compressor, form the photos mine looks identical to yours.

So after a bit of shipping back and forth along with a weeks vacation on my part I'm happy to report that Quanta got me a 58" A/C belt that fits my '73 SB - extremely tight fit, but it fits.

They were able to measure the belt I returned and determined it was under spec. The new belt they sent was apparently only a 1/4" longer, but it was just enough to get everything together.

Tension on the belt is just about perfect but I only have about 1/8" clearance between the A/C compressor and the valve cover. Hopefully things will loosen up as I run it and I can get some additional clearance.

Hat's off to Quanta for working with me and getting the issue resolved !!
