Jerry, I always kept a second set of wheels with body color for the dog dish look.

The car is a high horsepower car the tough look is blackwalls which is my choice the classic "grey poupon" look which is beautiful also is the whitewall look

I vote for the stock white walls. The white contrast compliments the black.

Interesting! Nearly an even split - nine for whitewalls and eight for blackwalls. Also interesting is the statistic from the 1953 - 1967 NCRS Corvette Spec Guide which states that the large majority of the 10,261 1960 Corvettes came with the RPO 290 whitewall option. 9,104 vs. 1,157 with blackwalls.

Last summer when I detailed my engine, my better half suggested repainting the engine another color because the orange clashed with the Donnybrooke green.

Daughters High School car ( pontiac ) had different hub caps on each side...no one knew the difference ( except me )

Why not run full caps and whitewall on one side and blackwall with dog dish on the other side...simple solution.
