On a prior thread about Rusted or seized Hose fittings in Aluminum Intakes , it was pointed out that thread damage may occur from removing them . This then could cause Anti Freeze leakage .
Without knowing whether this is or will be the case , and perhaps regardless, what is the best preventative to use ?
I think I used Teflon Tape on the nipple threads , but was considering using Permatex Ultra Copper . Are either a good or bad idea , possible point deduction aside ?
