    Hey Guys

Which side is up or down , or which way are the two center pins supposed to face ,forward toward the firewall or rearward toward the door , on the left side (driver's) fresh Air vent . C-60 car if it matters .

    Thanks

    Jim

No replys yet, however just information to pass on,my 1970 coupe with factory air does not have a fresh air vent on the drivers side, it came from the factory sealed closed.

      Hi Jim,

      Thanks for the follow up.

My title is mislabeled. It should read C2, as I am inquiring about a 66. I can no more figure out how to change the title than I can figure out which side is which !

        Hello Jim,

I cant answer for a c2, but on my non AC 69, the part where the cable attaches is closer to the firewall, this means one will be right side up and one will be upside down, in other words the spring will be on top one side and on the bottom on the other side

          Roger,

          Thanks .

On A/C cars the passenger vent is totally different. So I only have one that looks like the picture , and as you pointed out it fits either way .I will try it with the cable attachment closet to the firewall and hope for the best .

Jim, no prob, stated another way.....the cable has to pull across the pivot for the door to open
