    1969! Another long-time '59 owner. I had to have my seat bottoms repaired in the 60s. Back then, the upholstery guy removed the original cover, replaced only the split vinyl and kept the original panels that weren't split...

    Here's a picture of where those tags go on the seat backs if you choose to re-install. This back still has original cover, but will need to be re-covered.

      Wow...a neat picture....I've never seen (or can't remember) seeing photos (your's & Richard's) of where they were mounted....Thanks, man!
