A local Corvette friend asked me if I'd verified if the crayon "N03" marking was on the passenger foot-well (engine side) of my '65 L76 air tanker. Had to confess I'd never checked, although I had seen it on the rear bulkhead and on the transmission tunnel (just behind the radio).
So I lay on my back today with a wet rag and my camera. Found the marking; couldn't get a really good pic because of the angle and all the associated C60 plumbing. The inner dust shields have been off at least since I bought the car 35 years ago, so road rash has taken its toll. OTOH, the A/C evaporator box (you can see the condensate drain pipe nipple) probably shielded the crayon markings from being sand-blasted completely. So... please compare all 3 scripts and tell me if the trans tunnel, (with usually written "N") was done by the same person
For the others with the backwards "N", were they both done by the same dyslexic ?, or was the partially completed body tub inverted at that point.
