73 quadrajet secondary linkage rod configuration?

I was wondering what the secondary linkage rod looks like, and how it connects correctly to my 73 Rochester quadrajet. It is on the passenger side and controls the back two butterflies. I have an L48 - 4 speed car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks

Do you have a junk yard near you? Should be lots of them there.

Does anyone have a picture of the correct one for me to use as a sample. I have checked with guys who have tons of carb parts, but need to see what it looks like. They say there are so many different kind, want to make sure to get the correct one.
      Thanks!

          Russ,

In the upper midwest, like Michigan here, there is essentially zero chance you'll ever find one in a junkyard. Cars rust off the road by 10-15 years of age, and since Quadrajets have been moderately uncommon for 30+ years I haven't seen one in a junkyard since high school.

Lots of photos on ebay, however. That's often a reasonable reference source if you just want to see a picture.

It depends a lot on how long a given junk yard keeps older cars. I lived in MN and had a yard close by that I would bet still has considerable of them. At least they did ten years ago.

              Jimmy,
I believe there is a company in Calif. that sells Qjet parts. On web type " quadrajetparts.com" they may help you.

                John,
Yes, there is. It is SMI Products in Huntington Beach California. Sean Murphy is the gentleman I spoke with and yes, they did have the part I needed. They rebuild and modify Quadrajets and Holleys for racing and the street, as well as sell the carbs themselves.

great, yes Sean is a great person to deal with. My 75 corvette had a carter carb. and I wanted an original. I bought one from them and it worked right out of the box. Just minor adjustments no problems at all. Good luck............ season is here in the northeastern part of the country.
