I see SEMS Trim black is used almost everywhere with a C2 black interior (dash, gauges, steering column, console, fiberglass pieces), but what I would like to know is Trim black is the right black for the hood release and brake release brackets, and also the metal coupling that connects the a/c duct work together under the passenger side of the dash for a/c cars?

Re: Black paint for 66 interior dash brackets
The AC duct coupler piece on the passenger side has been observed to be somewhat glossier than SEMS trim black. Also, you didn't state, if you are working on a coupe or convertible. The coupe halo panel along with the upper door frames, headliner trim and windshield pillar trim pieces were sprayed "gloss" black (un-buffed, not representing a exterior paint finish.) Very often, restored cars have all interior pieces refinished in the same paint and do not necessarily represent a typical factory appearance.
Hope this helps.
