Re: '96 Front Bumper Over spray
Pat, thanks for the confirmation of my thoughts on the over spray on the hood springs.
I am only here to share information and I leave recommendations to the experts.
Take care and thanks again.PAT, Central New Jersey and Florida Chapters- Top

Re: '96 Front Bumper Overspray
I've decided to clean this up and bring it back to TP. I also have overspray in hood hinge area. I have seen references to hood hinge overspray in previous conversations. Should I remove this overspray or leave it be?

Re: '96 Front Bumper Overspray
Floyd, my only concern is, can you clean it up without affecting the black finish? In other words, is the fix going to worst that the perceived issue? I have seen over-spray on the springs and on the hood wheel area, especially on Grand Sports. However, never in the area that you are displaying. I'm attaching some picture of my car of that general area for your review.

Re: '96 Front Bumper Overspray
Thanx Ed,
I was planning on "removing" the red overspray by covering it with black. I have a few other small areas that require touch-up of the blackout such as the hood wheel well sections. Your pictures are helpful.Last edited by Floyd B.; February 14, 2015, 08:25 PM.'69 Blue/Blue L36 Vert w/ 4-Spd
