68 Heat / AC Control Switch

I am in the process of rebuilding my Heat and AC Control unit on my '68.
I am in need of a source to either purchase or rebuild the Control Switch
as the picture attached. I would appreciate any help I could get here.

    Thanks Mike

    Mike,

Corvette Central manufactures kits to rebuild those units. They are not that tough to do if you have a bit of mechanical aptitude.

      Patrick:
      Thanks for the reply.
I have rebuilt the control housing and roller system. My real problem is the switch.
I have cleaned it up, but the switch only works part of the time.
From what I have come to learn, this was a one year only switch - '68. In '69 the
subject switch was changed to a slide switch.
      Will keep looking.

I have successfully repaired all kinds of switches like that. Take a good look at it and figure out how it was assembled. Bend back the crimped over tabs, pull it apart, wash the parts with aerosol brake cleaner. Fine Emory on all the contact points. Lube with a non conducting grease. Reassemble. There is nothing complex inside them.

            Steve:
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. This switch appears to supply the power, when activated, to the
heater and ac compressor - if this is correct. I have seen other 68 climate control units and they
            all have the same switch.
If my unit is incorrect, I am not sure where to turn now. Most all part companies, C.C and Paragon
do not list anything for '68 - 69 and up.
