Mounting bolts for my John Pirkle Starter

I am having trouble with mounting bolts because most vendors show 68-74 427/454 70-74 350. No 68/69 350. The bolts look to be both long, is that correct. The 2 I received were 1 long 1 short. The short does not work.

The bolts you require are 3-5/8" in length and have knurling on the shank. Such bolts are easy to find in a good auto parts store. Your starter nose should be cast iron.

The short bolt, long bolt (longer than 3-5/8") configuration starter nose was used on NO 1969 Corvettes except L-88 with manual transmission.

All 1968 327's do use the short and long bolt starter nose configuration.

Well, you've got the starter bolts for one so now you might just as well go out and buy the L-88.
