c2 big block heat riser value question

friend has 55-67 big block heat riser and also the big spacer that would replace heat riser, which would be a better to get and keep, I don't need either, just curious.

If you don't plan to judge the car, I'd go with the spacer. I actually have been looking for one (a spacer) for my '65 396.

No original 1965 L-78 ever used the spacer so originality of the spacer must not be an issue if one is used. The reproductions are near-perfect anyway, so you shouldn't have any difficulty getting one if you want one.

It's easy to remove the valve from the shaft, which effectively, makes it the same as the FI spacer, but it's looks correct from the outside.
