I'm going to assume you mean red line 5600 to 7000, so again, it looks good for an L36 or an L68. The date on the diff could really help.

The BR5410 and 50E8 don't ring a bell, so maybe someone else can comment on that.

Have you attempted to see if the tank sticker is still intact atop your gas tank? If you're lucky, it will still be there and give you exactly what you need.

Leif, thanks for your reply. I have looked atop the tank with a fiberoptic camera system, and couldn't see anything but grommet and fiberglass. Do you think it is worth dropping the tank to see? Looks like a big job to me unless you are already dismantling for restoration.

Depends. How badly do you want to know how your car was originally equipped?? If your car hasn't had any major resto work done on it since it was new, it may be a good idea to drop the tank, check for tank sticker and while you're in there change the fuel lines which may be dangerously dry rotted by now. If you have access to a lift it's not a major job. Just an idea.

pull seats and the carpet up and look under there, try looking behind the speedo panel.

MY 1968's was found/discovered behind the radio and was folded.
