The '57 TM&JG indicates that 4-speed availability started around May 1st, or approximately #3500; The earliest factory 4-speed that Noland's survey found years ago was #3567, built April 24th. My '57 4-speed is #4275, built May 30th.- Top

I have #25XX, it was propably one of the cars that got a GM conversion ovber the counter. The frame was stenciled late Jan. as well as the engine build date and the tail housing was April 25 and the body was 4 - 26.
