I took some measurements for you. I got apx 0.030", measured opening at the area of the water pump upper boss.

Ironic, we were out last weekend and wound up in a local downtown shopping village, you know, one of those old town Florida tourist centers with craft & antique shops, and jewelry stores. We walked in one jewelry store, and she saw this "blue" stoned bracelet, with about 20 huge stones in it, garnets I think. We talked about it on the ride back towing the 63. The bracelet cost about as much as the car! She's happy she got the car.
