    Carb rebuilders

Are there any recommendations on rebuilders for a '67 #3810 carb? It runs ok but leaks around the shaft and onto the intake.

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Steve,

If that's the only problem, and the rest of the carb is in good shape. You can buy a new 3810 throttle plate assembly for about $130. Check on ebay, mztrcarb?

That would be the fastest fix, again if that's the only problem.

sounds like the float level is too high if this happens when the engine is shut off. if fuel drips onto the butterflys it will run out the shaft since there is not any type positive seal there to prevent the fuel from leaking out

I don't know where that goofy looking y came from but his name is Kunz.

                    Thanks guys,

As the carb has a hesitation when accelerating I think will give Bob Kunz a call.
