But if owner hid the California connection

Agree -- K19 mandatory for Calif.

But flight judging (if I'm reading the guides correctly) only checks off glove box CONTENTS, and that the Owner Protection Plan (Warranty Booklet) could be from a Chevy II, without deduct. In that case, IMHO, the engine case stamp pad assembly suffix COULD be a Flint error, and all other non-K19 components present could have been factory correct for this particular car.

Where does the burden of proof lie ?

P.S. From Chevrolet Service News (Sept.-Oct 1965); K19 was available optionally in all other states. There was even a '67 loaded Coupe delivered to Canada (Ontario ? dealer 85782) with 02K19GB. What with 400hp and A/C must have been one busy engine bay.

            Wayne -

The burden of proof lies with the owner; selling the K-19 coded suffix on the stamp pad a Flint error would be a tough sell on the judging field.
