Don't fallout of you chairs laughing but with the split ring battery cables, E69 top post battery what type of disconnect should you use? I am looking at the Paragon catalog page 70. Will the top post/knife #5083 fit inside the battery compartment with the door closed.

Re: Split Ring Cables - Battery Disconnect
You will have to hear from some 1969 owners to be sure, but I believe since the battery terminals face the front in that application the knife blade switch will not fit. That is too bad because the knife blade switch is superior to the green knob.Terry- Top

I like the knife type but it will not fit under the lid, I had to use the screw type, it's better than nothing.

Only a fool would laugh at your question. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask. I've asked a lot of questions that boarder on the stupid - but someone on this Board has always been nice enough to answer them.- Top

Yes. The disconnect fits the NEGATIVE battery post and the negative lead fits the disconnect.- Top

Re: Split Ring Cables - Battery Disconnect
I have a green knob disconnect on my early '69 with a Restoration Battery. The knob devise is connected to the negative terminal and it fits nicely under the lid.
