I would like to get my A.I.R. smog system going on my Calif. '66 300HP coupe with AC, PS and powerglide. It seems I need a third groove add-on water pump pulley to drive the smog pump. Do I need pulley #3883234, if so is it (or a replacement) available from GM or anywhere? For the smog pump, I managed to locate pulley #3890421, is this correct and how wide should the spacer be for my "third track" application?

Craig-----
For your application, I believe that the GM #3883234 pulley was used. This pulley is reproduced by "The Pulley King", but I'd try to obtain it from one of his STOCKING dealers, rather than directly.
I do not know the thickness for the spacer. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Thank you Joe and Dale, I will check with the vendors. Should I use smop pump pulley #3880800 or #3890421? The judging guide indicates the former while the assemply manual seems to indicate the latter (since I have C60 and N40). Craig- Top

Re: Water pump pulley for 1966 AC, PS, A.I.R.
Mark,
Thank you, yes please let me know the thickness of your spacer, mine is 7/8". Do you use the 421 pulley (vs. 800), does yours connect to a third-track water pump add-on pulley as well?
Thanks, Craig- Top
