what carb is this with the #s 7041200 C1 FA is this a carter built carb?

GM #7041200 was originally used for 1971 big blocks with automatic transmissions installed in passenger cars, Chevelles, and Camaros. It was not used for Corvettes, though. It is possible that it was manufactured by Carter as many Q-Jets were during this period. If it was, however, that fact will be clearly indicated on the side of the float bowl.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

C1 = March, first week
FA = broadcast code. We aren't yet sure how this fits in or what they mean. The 704XXXX number is much more "important" in your case.
