It does on the intakes that have the "hot-slot" at the front of the carb pad that's connected directly to the exhaust crossover passage, but that design was only used on '66-'68 327/300hp, '68 327/350hp, and '66-'69 427/390hp engines. The real cure for that issue is to plug the holes at the ends of the "hot-slot".
