69-82 Front Spindles

I know there is a right and a left with the steering arms, caliper brackets and dust shields attached; but, with all this stuff removed, are the the right and the left spindle/knuckle the same...they look symetrical to me???

The left side and right side steering knuckles (spindles) are the same for all 1969-82 Corvettes. In other words, one part is used for both sides. The same situation is true for 63-68 Corvettes, too. The steering ARMs, which bolt to the knuckles, are side-specific as are the caliper brackets and dust shields.

Just to add to Joe's reply 63-68 had small Dia. Bearings 69-82 had large Dia. A lot of people do not know this but theses spindals will fit 65-70 Impala if some one wants to do a disc conversion.
