66 Clock Repair - Do it yourself

You only say the clock doesn't work, not that it needs repainting and all cleaned up.

So, most do not work with time, and that is due to two things - dirt and points pitting.

It is very simple to do. You are doing the hard part (getting it out of the car) anyway to send it off, so why not do the easy part and save about $150?

BTW, the quartz will not pass the judging because the mechanical and the quartz are noticable in operation. If you want it to look original, keep the mechanical.

You can't beat Clock Works for fair price and quick turnaround. Jerry is a long time member of NCRS and knows Corvettes. They have done several clocks for me and I have no complaints. I believe they are one of the only venders who still has the original NOS clock movement available. Great website too.
