Here's a story with a happy ending that our group will talk about for some time. On Staurday at the Woodward Dream Cruise, one of our cruising group locked his keys in the trunk of his '57 fuel injected Corvette. After trying to figure out what to do, one of the memebers said we should try the keys of another member who has a '57 Bel Aire. It didn't open the trunk but the ignition key started the car. At least now he could get home (and to a locksmith). We asked all the mebers of the NCRS group who had about 50 spaces on Woodward who had pre '68 cars to try their keys but no luck. On Sunday our group cruised over to the local A&W for lunch and as we were about to leave another '57 Corvette pulled in. We asked to borrow his keys and, "Voila", the trunk popped open! Not much for tight security but for us a happy ending.
Just a nice story.
